Reviews about St John of God Subiaco Hospital

  • My husband (Mark) had a double lumbar fusion extension (Extension to old failing lumbar fusion) at SJOG (St John of God Subi) Subiaco on 12th June 2017, with Neurosurgeon Paul BANNON, with a 7 day hospital stay. The hospital and staff were wonderful and caring. Having had the original fusion at Mount Hospital Perth, which was awful with staff that were over worked and unhappy, having this corrective fusion at SJOG was a blessing from heaven. The staff were helpful and caring, they actually come when you need assistance with medication (Which was bad at the Mount). Cannot thank everyone at Subi enough :-) Although we would have preferred not to have had surgery in the first instance, having now spent a full 7 days post surgery in Subiaco, I can honestly say that the fear that we both had for any hospital stay (After the awful experience at the Mount) has been swept away by the caring attitude shown by everyone at SJOG, from the orderlies, nurses, cleaners to the theatre staff. All A+ in my opinion. I have attached the meal that I loved the most out of all the meals I had over the week (Once I was able to keep my food down of course), this was their take on a Beef Massaman Curry. YUMBO :-). Thanks again to everyone :-)
